Topography and Route

Until the night before, I hadn’t considered the “challenging“ rating. Just looks like it goes up + down a lot! I also discovered we ran the holy city (amazing) and residential neighbourhoods (where families were handing oranges to the runners). See the route and hills below on my phone screenshot (photos further down!)

Then we’re off @6.45! Fresh sunrise start to the day = light breeze + clear skies

Fueled by two local bananas, and hotel powder coffee with hebrew writing. Plus lots of splashes on face with the 2-handled washing cup! Action shots/ selfies:

Jaffa oranges in Jaffa cakes? Hope so! Followed by 2 lunches, a very long walk around the amazing sights, then a posh dinner on a Friday, where the majority of places are simply closed.

They always use local language in emails so how do I get here ?

I am not sure how to finish it, but we flew to Luton, then back to Jersey after a short night at holiday inn express. Let’s say I have taken a while to absorb this trip/race.
